Servers

  • In a normal day of operations, you will be expected to work with the F&B team to assist with creating a memorable guest dining experience by providing the finest quality of service to the guests, Owners, and their guests. Set and maintain the guest areas to agreed standards, ensuring all areas are always guest ready.

    Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Practice proper telephone etiquette
  • Have a happy demeanor at all times when meeting, greeting and seating guests to answering the telephones
  • Up sell food and beverage items at every opportunity
  • Be the first point of contact for all guests into the dining rooms and on the telephone
  • Record all guest information on the reservation sheet for the meal period that is worked.
  • Prepare all menus and wine lists and restaurant front podium in preparation for service
  • Greet and seat all guests by the BEYC F&B standards
  • Inform servers of the guest’s information; in-house or outside guests, special information ie; birthdays etc.
  • Be presentable and approachable at all times
  • Carry out cleaning duties as required by the supervisor
  • Take food and beverage orders and serve guest
  • Clearing tables and ensuring the overall cleanliness of restaurant
  • Polish cutlery and wrap roll ups

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in hospitality industry.
  •  Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
