Position Summary

Nanny Cay Resort & Marina is seeking an experienced and results-driven Hospitality Manager to provide senior operational oversight across our hospitality operations.

The Hospitality Manager will oversee Rooms and Food & Beverage operations, which includes our 52-room hotel and restaurant with capacity for approximately 400 guests.

This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership position requiring a strong commercial understanding, excellent people-management skills and the ability to operate effectively within the unique environment of a busy resort.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the Hotel Rooms & Reservations Manager and Restaurant Manager to ensure departments operate efficiently and to the required standards.
  • Monitor departmental performance against agreed operational, financial and service targets.
  • Review revenue, costs, productivity and other key performance indicators to support profitability.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve efficiency, control costs and enhance the guest experience.
  • Conduct regular operational reviews with department managers and follow up on agreed actions.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, accountability, service
    excellence and professional development.
  • Ensure established company policies, procedures, health and safety standards and regulatory requirements are consistently followed.
  • Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting and departmental business planning.
  • Monitor purchasing, inventory control and operating expenses to ensure responsible use of company resources.
  • Plan and execute special events, group functions, high-occupancy periods and other high-volume operations.
  • Provide regular operational updates, recommendations and performance reports to management.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive management experience in hotel, resort, hospitality or high-volume food and beverage operations.
  • Proven experience in a management or senior supervisory role, preferably with responsibility for multiple departments or operational areas.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in Hotel and Food & Beverage operations.
  • Proven ability to monitor revenue, costs, productivity, inventory and departmental performance.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost control and improving departmental profitability.
  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems, restaurant POS systems and reservations systems.
  • Strong understanding of guest service standards, hospitality operations and service excellence.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve efficiency, control costs and enhance the guest experience.
  • A degree, diploma or professional qualification in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Management or a related field would be an advantage.
