Guest Services Manager

  • To oversee the efficient running of the Guest Services area and be responsible for all guest-related movements, inquiries, and complaints on property. You will be responsible for the overall guest experience. You are responsible for ensuring that all guests are enthusiastically greeted at BEYC, and to maintain their level of satisfaction. You will also manage the rooms, public area and guest amenities.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute all guest arrivals and departures for the Rooms.
  • Coordinate and organize all guest requests, activities, and itineraries.
  • Assist resort guests with making dinner reservations and check in with them while dining.
  • Assist with entering billing information for guest ferries, taxis, excursions & activities
  • Check for guests’ likes and dislikes, or for guest special occasions, prior to arrival. Strive for FORBES level of hospitality and service.
  • Ensure departing resort guests leaving the property are happy, wishing to return and bid them a safe journey home.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the captains regarding guest needs (i.e. North Sound
  • Transfers, spa therapists, etc.) Ensures all guest enquiries and bookings were followed up immediately either verbally or in writing.
  • All emails and phone calls are followed up within 24 hours.
  • Collect, copy and distribute guest comments cards to appropriate departments
  • Compiles packages with outside vendors, i.e. car hire companies, charted boats etc.
  • Ensures all information is accurate and updated on a monthly basis, i.e. ferry schedule, off property dining, on property activities etc.
  • Manage the Reception area and work closely with the Marina Team.
  • Complete room inspections prior to guest arrivals and after departures ensuring they meet the highest standards.

Qualifications:
o Higher Education with concentration in hospitality and lodging is preferred.
o Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
