Founded in 1967 by the family Patriarch Clarence Thomas out of the territory’s need for plumbing supplies and electrical materials, Clarence Thomas Limited Plumbing Supplies grew from the Cherry Tree at Sea Cow’s Bay to a basement apartment in Purcell to Wickham’s Cay 2, and later expanded to a larger space at Pasea Estate and a store in the Valley, Virgin Gorda then becoming known as CTL Home Center.

In 2015, the brand new modern 70 thousand square feet Super Store and Lumberyard opened at the new location in Fish Bay Tortola providing the Virgin Islands community with all of its home improvement and maintenance supplies; plumbing, electrical, marine and lawn and garden supplies; hand and power tools; small and large appliances; an extensive stock of home products; a wide variety of quality paints and surface protectors; as well as office supplies and much, much more.

CTL Home Center is the most popular name in Virgin Islands’ households – the territory’s own local giant, catering to the needs of our growing community. And with the recently opened Belle’s Café named in honor of matriarch Mabell Thomas, CTL’s name is also well known for great food.
